As Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, we are stepping confidently into the future and building on nearly 50 years of impact as Sustrans, an organisation that helped pioneer the UK’s sustainable travel movement. From the creation of the Bristol-Bath path to the National Cycle Network, School Streets and beyond, our legacy is one of bold ideas, practical delivery, and lasting change.

We are now seeking two new Trustees to join our Board at this pivotal time. In addition to working at Board level, you will have substantial experience in at least ONE of the following three areas:

• Post-strategy implementation / organisational effectiveness
• Sustainable travel / Walking, wheeling, cycling / public transport
• Fundraising / philanthropic giving / income generation

In this post, you will work with minimal supervision, but clear guidance to provide key business support services, which will include the provision of high-quality daily reception services. Supporting the smooth operational running of The Hunterian, you will contribute to the continual development and improvement of key operational, administrative and finance processes, to ensure an efficient delivery of the service in a way that enhances its internal and external efficiency, effectiveness and reputation.
