Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker

Role

Are you passionate about the rights of women and children? Do you have the drive and enthusiasm to raise awareness of the issues around domestic abuse and gender-based violence?

We are looking for someone with the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver a training programme to partner agencies, schools and organisations in the Stirlingshire area.

This role requires a range of experience and skills. You must be able to work independently, have a strong commitment to equality and a gendered understanding of domestic abuse. You will have strong communication skills, experience of partnership working as well as experience of delivering training programmes.

Stirling and District Women’s Aid offers support, information and temporary refuge accommodation for women and their children who have been physically, emotionally or sexually abused by a partner or former partner.
