The ALLIANCE is excited to be recruiting a Gambling Harm Development Officer.
As a crucial member of the Scotland Reducing Gambling Harm programme, the Gambilng Harm Development Officer will support our work to tackle gambling harm in Scotland, by advocating for a public health approach and putting the voices of people with lived experience of gambling harm at the heart of action to reduce and prevent those harms.
We’re looking for a person who is passionate about promoting equality, inclusion, and working towards a Scotland where everyone can live free from gambling harm. An individual who recognises the power of bringing people together, and who can use their skills and experience to support our work to create spaces where people come together to share ideas, learn from one another and cocreate effective actions for change.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to use their engagement, relationship building, communication and administrative skills to directly inform and influence action to prevent, reduce and tackle gambling harm in Scotland.
Terms and conditions
This is a full time and part time role of 35 hours and 17.5 hours a week, and based in Glasgow. The post holder will be required to adopt a flexible approach to working hours as travel throughout Scotland and occasional additional hours will be required. However, this will be reimbursed through the organisation’s Time off in Lieu scheme.
