Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people in West Lothian?
Aid & Abet are launching a new project in partnership with Police Scotland in West Lothian and we are looking for individuals that want to give back to their communities by supporting young people who are involved in the criminal justice system break the cycle of anti-social behaviour and offending.
The project offers a holistic, person-centred service aimed at supporting young people aged 10-25 to positively transform their lives, including guiding young people towards services for professional support, including education and employment opportunities.
Aid & Abet are looking for two peer mentors to join our new project, to work alongside police officers from Police Scotland to build trusting relationships and empowering individuals to stabilise their circumstances and create a network of support, including engaging with relevant organisations and proactively planning for a positive future.
