Role

Flourish House is a Glasgow based mental health charity providing services based on the philosophy and standards of the Clubhouse Model.

The aim of our organisation is to rebuild confidence and self-esteem of people with lived experience of mental illness and support their recovery through participation in meaningful work, learning, wellbeing and community activities.

Following a successful funding award we are seeking an additional Project Worker to join our staff team.

The role of the Project Worker is to work alongside Members and engage them in the wide range of meaningful activity that we provide in the Clubhouse. In this instance, the role will have a particular focus within the Business and Admin Unit, where you will lead activity and support Members to learn and complete daily admin, clerical and finance tasks. You will receive training in the various processes we use.

All Clubhouse staff also have a generalist role which means you will have the opportunity to lead other activities such as social events, outdoor activity groups and cooking.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude to people and a willingness to be flexible and to work as part of a team. You will also have good interpersonal and communication skills, and a sound knowledge of IT, social media and online processes. Experience of working with people with long term mental health conditions will be an advantage.
