  • Advertised from 23rd September 2022

Role

Following confirmation of increased funding Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre is pleased to be expanding across all its services and as such is recruiting senior posts to assist in managing the staff teams and in delivering a high quality, welcoming and accessible service to survivors of sexual violence, aged 13 and over, across the Forth Valley area.

This post represents an exciting opportunity to take a lead on our young persons’ specific therapeutic support service and our prevention service and manage a small team of dedicated staff. As a lead practitioner this post will also be expected to carry a manageable caseload.

The successful candidate will be experienced in both counselling and people management, have a clear intersectional feminist analysis of gender-based violence and will be dedicated to putting survivors, especially young people, at the heart of all they do. Whilst this post undoubtedly requires kindness and compassion, it also requires attention to detail, commitment to quality, professionalism and demonstrable levels of personal resilience.
