Each Place2Be Project is managed by an Area Manager with the support of a Clinical Supervisor who offers clinical supervision to School Based Staff/Clinicians (mixed modality Counsellors and Psychotherapists) in that Area. The Clinical Supervisors are line managed and clinically supervised by the Clinical Lead for Scotland.
As a Clinical Supervisor you will be line managed and clinically supervised by the Clinical Lead for Scotland, who you'll report directly into.
Your key responsibilities will involve the delivery of Place2Be school-based mental health services and ensuring we maintain high quality clinical practice levels to enable the delivery of an effective service for all Place2Be projects within your Area. You will also establish positive and active relationships with all clinical staff and carry out quality and ethical clinical supervision in line with Place2Be’s Supervision Policy and BACP guidelines.
You'll provide ongoing regular communication with Area Manager's, for delivery of best in class service for both our partner schools and our workforce. In addition, you will Support the Area Manager, where appropriate, in establishing effective working relationships and referral pathways with specialist services.
You'll ensure any safeguarding concerns raised within clinical supervision are documented and shared with the Area Manager who will monitor and review cases. In addition, you will provide clinical supervision to clinical practitioners (both face to face and remotely) and support supervisees in the clinical use of assessment data to create coherent formulations for each case.

Will have a recognised counselling or therapy qualification with substantial post-qualifying experience, along with a good knowledge of the school environment.
