Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Equalities, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) professional to join the National Library of Scotland in this newly created role.

You will be a champion for equality across the protected characteristics, including from an intersectional perspective. You will understand the common barriers faced by people who share these characteristics and will actively support teams across the Library to remove those barriers and to embed inclusion across all areas of our work. A strong communicator and influencer, you will develop effective working relationships both strategically and operationally with staff teams, staff advisory groups, external community groups and other stakeholders in order to drive and deliver our EDI priorities.
