Role

Rock Trust are delighted to be launching Live and Work West Lothian, an innovative programme providing young people with affordable shared housing and support to access employment. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Project Worker to help us implement this exciting new project. The role will involve working directly with young people to coordinate and provide emotional and practical support on a 1:1 and group basis. You will work alongside our Live and Work residents to manage the shared properties, build independent living skills, access employment opportunities and reach their goals.

The post holder will be expected to:

  • Work with our Service Manager to develop the Live and Work service
  • Support young people to manage and thrive in their new home
  • Support young people to develop employment skills and access opportunities
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with key partners
  • Work with our property team to manage our Live and Work building

Rock Trust is Scotland’s leading youth specific homelessness charity. We work with young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of, or who are experiencing homelessness. Our aim is to end youth homelessness in Scotland by ensuring that every young person has access to expert youth specific services to assist them to avoid, survive and move on from homelessness.
