Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the award-winning DFN Project SEARCH University of Aberdeen team as Consultant (Administration). You will provide professional administrative support to underpin the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the programme, with responsibility for supporting the team with office-based tasks including arranging meetings/events, processing expenses, maintaining classroom records/files and supporting the programme’s monitoring/reporting requirements to external organisations.

The Candidate

You will have previous experience in a similar administrative role along with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. Utilising excellent communication skills, you will be the first point of contact for the classroom, ensuring queries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. As a results-oriented ‘team player’, you will demonstrate a high level of personal initiative to produce accurate work and proactively manage a varied workload.

The post is available on a part-time (17.5 hours per week) basis until June 2023 in the first instance (with the post likely to continue subject to securing further project funding).
