MAIN FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITY
GCA is looking to recruit a Wellbeing Counsellor who will hold sessions with individual staff to support them as they support their clients. From time to time this may include group sessions with staff around common themes. This will all be undertaken in a safe and trauma informed setting which will encourage individuals to look at their own practice and wellbeing. There may be some requirement for supporting people with personal issues.

GCA is a voluntary organisation working to reduce the harm caused by addiction through the provision of a range of high quality therapeutic and support services, including counselling, community justice support and mentoring, groupwork, women’s service, employability support for adults and young people, prevention, education and training.
