Role

Bridges Project is an independent, local charity which works with young people in East Lothian and Midlothian to help them manage the transition from adolescence to young adulthood and life beyond school.

We have a vacancy for an Employability Support Worker to deliver an effective employability casework and group work service to vulnerable and disadvantaged young people living in East Lothian and Midlothian who are unemployed or who have left school without a positive destination. The post holder will work on the Way2Work 16+ service and provide an effective interface between the young people, partners and stakeholders involved in the service.

It is essential that candidates have a full, clean driving licence and constant use of a car. Membership of the PVG scheme will be an essential requirement of the post. The post is funded by Chance to Succeed. A contributory company pension scheme is offered with a 10% employer contribution.
