Trustees welcomed to join the Board of Management of the Glenrothes Community Sports & Health Hub ,based at
Gilvenbank Park, Pitcoudie Avenue, Glenrothes, Fife, KY7 6SU
The sports & health hub’s two members are Glenrothes Cricket Club and Glenrothes Athletic Football Club and has three affiliated members, Glenrothes Rugby Club, Glenrothes Tennis Club and Glenrothes Strollers Football Club.
There are over 200 children & young people involved with Glenrothes Athletic Football club ages from 5 years – 18 years. There are over 80 coaches & volunteers.
There are over 70 children & young people involved with Glenrothes Cricket Club as well as two adult cricket teams.
The sports & health hub offers Andys Man Club, Womens Wellbeing Club, Yoga, Pilates, sporting memories club, parents & toddlers & story telling, walking football, chair exercise, female self defence, employability and welfare support.
Hub also offers a community larder every Wednesday & Friday between 4.30-5.30 where surplus foods are offered from Asda and the Glenrothes Foodbank
The health hub offers educational workshops and training.
Trustees must have a desire to lead the sports & health hub into offering activities that will support the elderly & vulnerable, poverty, social inclusion, mental health, health inequality and community resilience.
Hub offers support to people of all ages and backgrounds
