We’re recruiting a Senior Media Officer to join our communications team to be part of our mission to make sure that there is no life half lived in Scotland.

This is an exciting role that will see you working across the Scottish media to make a real difference to the lives of the one in five Scots living with a chest, heart or stroke condition.

You’ll be pitching hard-hitting campaigns and news stories focused on protecting and improving vital NHS services for people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions, including Long Covid, during the economic challenges we are facing over the next few years.

You will also promote our Hospital to Home services, our nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams who help families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.

The Senior Media Officer will be joining a hard-working and talented communications team, working closely with our chief storyteller, our public affairs manager and our photographer and videographer to develop media packages that will fly.

We are looking to work with someone who has a talent for spotting a fantastic story, is great at developing relationships, and can write creative copy. This is a chance for you to channel your passion for PR and media relations to make an real difference to people who need our charity.
