Role

We are looking for an energetic, motivated and organised person to join our team at our Linburn Activity Centre. You will facilitate and co-ordinate the activities within the Centre alongside the centre leadership team. You will work alongside the veterans to ensure they receive support that meets their needs and allows them access to opportunities which help to improve their physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

Our Hawkhead and Linburn Centres provide innovative and person-centred services and support to our members. The services aim to reduce isolation and anxiety often felt by those with sight loss, while improving confidence to live well with a visual impairment now and in the future. You will support our members by striving to continually review and develop our services to meet their current and future needs.

If this sounds like the right role for you and you have a qualification in Health/Social Care/Social Work/Sport or similar at SVQ 3/HNC level or above, and also have demonstrable experience of working with people with visual impairment or those with other disabilities, please Apply Now and read the attached document for further role information.
