Role

RAMH First Crisis

RAMH’s FIRST Crisis Service operates in Partnership with Renfrewshire HSCP. FIRST Crisis delivers an immediate, short-term crisis response to individuals in Renfrewshire who are experiencing a crisis in their mental health. FIRST Crisis provides crisis intervention by utilising a strengths based, recovery oriented approach, encouraging individuals who access the service to develop or build on effective self-management strategies.

We are seeking to recruit a senior crisis worker who is able to work both on their own initiative and as part of a small team providing crisis support to a client group with diverse and complex needs. You will require an in-depth understanding of key presenting issues, risk assessment, crisis resolution and management and an awareness of Mental Health issues.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in community based mental health service provision, and 6 months’ crisis experience preferred, alongside relevant qualification to at least SVQ Level 3 or equivalent. This is a challenging role and an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to gain experience in crisis work.

RAMH FIRST Crisis operates 365 days, Mon-Fri 9am-8pm and Sat-Sun 9am-5pm.

Evening and weekend work are an essential requirement of this post.
