About the role
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer to grow and steward meaningful relationships with major corporate partners across Scotland.
This new role will focus on securing new business from banks, national organisations and large employers, while also strengthening existing partnerships to deliver sustainable, multi-year income.
Working within our Fundraising and Communications team, you will play a key part in driving our ambition to significantly increase unrestricted income, collaborating closely with colleagues to develop compelling partnership propositions, impactful campaigns and engaging corporate volunteering opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a growing income stream and help us reach more people living with or at risk of HIV and hepatitis C.
This role will work closely with the Income Generation Manager and Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, and will complement the work of our Fundraising Officer, who leads on community fundraising and community-linked corporate relationships.
The postholder will collaborate with the fundraising team to identify and develop warm corporate opportunities emerging from events and community activity, ensuring a joined-up approach to stewarding and growing corporate engagement across Scotland.
As a charity that is not fully funded by statutory sources, voluntary income plays a vital and growing role in sustaining our services. This post will be central to increasing awareness of our funding model and inspiring corporate partners to invest in our mission.

About the project:
The Veterans Advice Service is a new project being established for the 2026-2027 financial year. The project will support both veterans and their families by providing holistic advice covering a range of areas such as benefits, housing, debt, and employment.
This project will include a focus on providing outreach in locations within Roxburgh and Berwickshire which do not currently have a physical CAB presence. These outreach sessions will allow the provision of face-to-face advice and aim to ameliorate the challenges faced by veterans living in rurality such as geographic and social isolation.
As part of this outreach activity, the project advisor will liaise with groups and organisations who are providing support for veterans within the community. The project advisor will raise awareness of the services and advice areas covered by Roxburgh and Berwickshire CAB.
Job description:
As the Veterans Advice Service Advisor, you will have an interesting and rewarding role giving advice on a range of topics. You will work as part of a supportive team ensuring our clients receive a holistic service enabling them to exercise their rights and access the benefits and services they are entitled to. You will have the opportunity to advise across a number of areas, including: benefits, housing, debt, and employment etc. You will also have the opportunity to run outreach sessions within the local community, engaging with veterans and their families.
Within the role you will work with the bureau manager and operations coordinators to engage with other groups and organisations within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
• Interview clients over the phone, and face-to-face to gather relevant information about their circumstances and identify the areas they require assistance with.
• Research advice areas to identify possible options for the client and explain these in a concise and understandable way, to allow the client to make an informed decision.
• Engage with organisations and groups which provide support to veterans and their families, through raising awareness of our services, whilst also consolidating and strengthening clear referral pathways.
• Run outreach sessions across Roxburgh and Berwickshire to enable our clients to access advice within their local community.
• Provide practical assistance to clients such as completing benefit calculations on their behalf and helping clients to contact other agencies.
• Identify social policy issues to feedback to the wider network to help benefit both local and national social policy campaigns.
• Negotiate with third parties on the client’s behalf to resolve issues they are facing, for example, with employers, benefit agencies, and landlords, etc.
• Coordinate with other specialist advisors and projects within the Citizens Advice Bureau network to ensure clients receive support with complex issues.
• Refer clients to external agencies where the support required falls out with our remit.
• Maintain accurate records through the case recording system.
• Identify areas for personal development and proactively explore training opportunities to continue your own personal development.
• Keep up to date on relevant legislation and case law relevant to the role.
• Uphold the principles of Roxburgh and Berwickshire CAB at all times.

The Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing a team of geographically dispersed Operations Officers to support the operational delivery and development of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) across Scotland.
Operations Officers directly support a variety of Licensed Organisations (LOs) comprising mainly of schools, but they also work with other organisations including colleges, local authorities, charities, pupil referral units, youth groups and young offender institutions. The Operations Manager role involves managing, coaching, and supporting Operations Officers to undertake their role and building strong partnerships to increase DofE’s engagement across communities in Scotland.
As a DofE country team, our focus is on building capacity within our licensed organisations to support more young people to engage with DofE and on identifying and stewarding strong partnerships within local communities to increase engagement with DofE, particularly within those communities who face barriers to participation. Line managed by the Senior Operations Manager, the Operations Manager is an active and engaged member of the Scotland Team, which is chaired by the Scotland Director. The Operations Management team is responsible for delivering on the Scotland business plan and strategic goals in line with UK wide national strategy.
The role will be field-based and when not attending meetings, employees will work from home. You will need to have an appropriate home office set up and live within or near the portfolio area.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, proactive, and effective team player with extensive people management experience to join the Scotland team. You will report to the Senior Operations Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your Operations team and delivery of the DofE Scotland business plan. STAND (Striving Towards a New Day) is a Fife Charity which encourages, supports and engages people living with dementia and their family and friends through peer support and other means, to support people to live a good life with dementia, continuing to use their skills and learn new ones.
STAND’s Board of Trustees is made up of people with lived experience of dementia, their supporters and other professionals.
STAND delivers multiple Dementia Friendly Meeting Centre Spaces (DFMCS) across Fife. DFMCS typically each run for 2 hours a week and through peer support, social interaction and therapeutic activity offer those living with dementia and their supporters, opportunities to live well with dementia, establishing new friendships, enjoying new activities and having fun. Each DFMCS is facilitated by one or two Facilitators, sometimes supported by STAND Volunteers.
Location: based at 3 weekly DFMCS groups: times and days will be specified (likely to be within 10 miles of Kirkcaldy). Home-based for any planning hours.

MECOPP (Minority Ethnic Carers of People Project) is Scotland’s leading Black and Minority Ethnic carers’ organisation. We work to reduce inequalities, improve access to culturally appropriate services, and support some of the most marginalised communities across Scotland.
We are looking for a dedicated Accommodation Policy Worker to support policy development and advocacy work for the Gypsy/Traveller community across Scotland.
This role focuses on researching and influencing accommodation-related policy (including housing and planning), engaging with stakeholders, and supporting consultation responses and policy development. You will play a key role in ensuring the voices and rights of the Gypsy/Traveller community are reflected in local and national policy.

The Project Lead ideally with Lived Experience will play a key role in delivering the NextGen Empowered Cashback programme, supporting Black and minority ethnic young people aged 12–25 who may be at risk of exploitation, exclusion, or involvement in anti-social or criminal activity.
Drawing on lived experience and cultural understanding, the Project Lead will build trusted relationships with young people and families, lead diversionary activities including sport and Hip Hop Education, provide mentoring and support, and contribute to outreach and engagement within communities in Edinburgh and West Lothian.
The role will also support the safe delivery of residential activities, contribute to safeguarding and monitoring processes, and work collaboratively with partner organisations.

About the team
The Information & Support team is based in Glasgow and Liverpool and offers a range of services to people affected by lung cancer across the UK. The team works closely with our Research, Finance, Income generation and Marketing teams based in Liverpool. Our main activities include distributing information designed to support medical understanding and psychological coping; delivering our Ask the Nurse service which provides support and advice; supporting people affected by lung cancer face to face via our Support Group network and Information Days; and our Connect online and 1-1 support services, promoting awareness of signs and symptoms and the benefit of early diagnosis of lung cancer.

You will be working in the department dealing directly with people affected by lung cancer. The post holder will provide operational management and engagement for our growing range of information and support services. This role will focus on building our service capacity, systems and profile. It will contribute to the involvement of people affected by lung cancer in the services, advocacy and policy reach of the charity.
