We have started a new youth peer education project which involves recruiting and training young people on current health issues enabling them to run harm reduction workshops for their peers.
The coordinator will be organising all aspects of volunteering from recruiting young volunteers (ages 14 and up), arranging training/workshops and timetables of activities and communicate frequently with the volunteers. We seek someone with strong administrative, organisational and communication skills. As well as being warm, caring and friendly we want someone how is passionate about engaging with young people and fostering their participation in this project.

We are excited to be developing ‘Ready, Willing and Able’ Down’s Syndrome Scotland’s new Inclusive Employment Programme for adults with Down’s syndrome seeking meaningful employment to reach their fullest potential and are now looking for an efficient and organised Programme Coordinator to join our team.
The Programme Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our Inclusive Employment Programme, helping to deliver effective, responsive services to both internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a flexible, organised individual with strong communication and administrative skills.
The coordinator will work closely with the Programme Lead, Mentor Support Worker, mentors, and volunteers to ensure smooth operation and ongoing support for the programme’s goals.
We are looking for two Pathways Coordinators for Golspie High School and Nairn Academy, to work with young people, mentors and school staff involved in our programme.
About the role:
You will be an integral part of the school community and wider MCR team and be the key person delivering the MCR programme to young people in the school.
Key responsibilities:
- Helping to build exceptional individual relationships with young people across S1 to S6 and delivering S1 & S2 group work.
- Helping to drive volunteer mentor recruitment. Consistently supporting, actively engaging and motivating mentors from training through the length of their engagement with the programme.
- Actively support MCR young people to set, experience then follow their education and employment pathways.
- Evidence progression, impact and best practice with YP input, quantitative feedback and qualitative case studies.
About you:
- Exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships with young people aged 11-18 years, education colleagues, volunteer mentors and local employers.
- Awareness and understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability and confidence to present programme information & deliver prepared training sessions to groups.
- Ability to work well on own initiative, as part of a team and on a flexible basis in response to young person and organisational need.
- An understanding of the challenges and barriers that care-experienced and/or vulnerable young people may encounter.
- Experience or a knowledge of processes to document and evidence good practice and positive outcomes.
You may have experience as a Youth, Community or Advice Worker. You will be an empathetic person who is open minded, non-judgemental, resilient and who is driven to improve outcomes for care experienced and other vulnerable young people.

Based in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife, the Cellardyke Trust is a small charity established to support innovative community projects. We aim to work with individuals, families, groups, organisations and companies to help strengthen the community, and we have a particular focus on arts and heritage projects.
The Trust now has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team, working closely with the board of trustees. We are seeking a highly organised, self-motivated individual with a strong interest in both heritage and community, to take our Manx Beauty Project through its initial development phase.
The Manx Beauty is an historic fishing vessel, built in Cellardyke in 1937 and subsequently owned and operated from various ports across the British Isles. Now in a poor state of repair, our ambition is to rebuild the Manx Beauty and improve lives and community in the process. The priorities of the Manx Beauty Project are to create training opportunities for young people and volunteers to engage in practical boat rebuilding, restoration and recycling. Alongside students from the local high school in Anstruther, the target volunteers are those isolated through social, economic or health issues. We will create a supportive environment for certificated training opportunities. There will also be additional openings for volunteers to engage in related arts and cultural heritage projects.
We have funding in place from the National Lottery Fund Heritage Fund to begin this process and take the project through to the next stage of funding. If the additional funding is granted then the Project Coordinator will have the option to extend their contract for a further period of 4 years to manage the project, alongside the recruitment of additional positions to deliver the project.
The Project Coordinator will prepare the application for the delivery phase and work with partners to ensure that all preparations are complete. This includes developing all policies and procedures, managing budgets and resources, developing training courses with partners, carrying out risk assessments, developing links with other agencies and seeking additional funding from trusts and foundations or other funding sources. They will also help build the sustainability of the organisation.
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of successful project management, delivering projects within budgets and timescales, with environmental sustainability at the core. We are seeking an individual with excellent people and communication skills, preferably with experience of managing volunteers. An inclusive approach with a drive to facilitate access for all to engage with heritage and the ability to motivate and inspire others to do likewise is a key value. A track record of successful partnership building and a creative and collaborative approach are essential, together with problem solving and negotiation skills.
Fundraising experience from a variety of sources is strongly preferred. Experience of Heritage Lottery projects, Youth and Community work and/or Maritime Heritage are highly desirable.
About the role
We seek a Befriending Coordinator to market and deliver our well-established befriending service in the Fife area to young carers who are socially isolated, and who need a break from their caring responsibilities. You will recruit, match, and support a network of volunteer befrienders to support young carers one to one, as well as delivering your, small direct case load. You will also liaise with a range of organisations, particularly Fife Young Carers.
This post requires you to have your administrative home-base in Fife and involves regular travel across Fife to homes and communities.

Gorgie and Palmerston Place (G+PP Church) is a new charge formed by the union of two thriving congregations in the west of Edinburgh. The united parish is one of the largest in the city, in terms of both geographical extent and population. Along with our Communications Coordinator to be part of our Staff Team, providing administrative support to the Minister, Property Conveners, Treasurers, Session Clerks and volunteers involved in our Mission so that we can fulfil our Vision priorities. What is the role
We are recruiting for multiple Relief Support Co-ordinators to support our team across Scotland. Relief Support Co-ordinators provide cover over weekdays, evenings and weekends. Shifts are offered when they are available, but there is no obligation to accept work.

You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. Our Community Health Support Services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.
We are looking for a Community Support Coordinator to join our amazing team in the Tayside area. This role is focused on making sure that people affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions get the help they need and get back to doing the things that matter to them.
Through our Community Support Services, you will support people to have the confidence and tools to self-manage their health condition and live as independently as possible. You’ll also help people get back to doing the things that are important to them – from simple things like walking to their local shop following a stroke, to returning to a sky-high hobby of gliding!
You’ll be directly involved in supporting people with chest, heart and stroke conditions through both one-to-one and group services in both community and hospital settings. You’ll work with the rest of the Community Support Services team in Tayside, and manage a team of incredible volunteers, to make a real difference to the lives of people with our conditions.
Candidates don’t need to have medical knowledge as training is provided on our health conditions. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and long-term conditions; an understanding of the challenges faced by people with chest, heart and stroke conditions including Long Covid; an understanding of community service provision; the ability to recruit, manage and motivate a team of volunteers; and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
