Sight Scotland Veterans is looking for an Activity Worker / Driver to join our team at the Linburn Centre on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). In this role, you will deliver and support a varied programme of activities. You will encourage veterans to try new experiences, develop skills and engage with others in a person-centred and accessible way.
You will also contribute to planning and developing new activities and events, supporting the day-to-day running of the service and working closely with colleagues and volunteers to ensure a high standard of delivery. Driving and/or escorting duties are part of the role, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
This is a hands-on and rewarding opportunity for someone who is organised, approachable and confident in motivating others. You should have strong communication and organisational skills, good IT knowledge and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in a social care, recreational or community setting would be advantageous.

We are looking for a Community Connections Outreach Worker for the Fife area. You will be involved in supporting people living with dementia to establish personal goals and outcomes and help them to achieve these. About the Role:
The Group Worker - U-Turn Peer Education Service will support our peer-led Harm Reduction Service (U-Turn) benefiting young people 11 – 25 years old to design and deliver youth-led inputs on issue-based topics, with a focus to incorporate harm reduction approaches and address stigma/language around substance use.
The Group Worker will have responsibility for developing our weekly groups for our Peer Educators to take part in training around areas such as leadership, team building, issue based topics and wellbeing. These groups will provide a safe, trauma-informed space where individuals will be able to feel confident to develop coping skills and resilience.
The service specifically targets some of the most vulnerable young people in areas where Murray’s Initiative currently delivers services, aiming to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and other drugs within their communities. The Peer Educators will be supported to deliver peer-led inputs to other Young People on issued-based topics, with a focus to incorporate a harm reduction approach as well as a separate element of addressing stigma/language around drug and alcohol use.

About the role
The Homeless Navigator Project seeks to address the visible problem of rough sleeping in the City of Edinburgh. The project aims to offer an alternative opportunity for people who are experiencing homelessness and cannot, for whatever reason, make use of the current support services that exist in Edinburgh.
The post holder will provide advice and support to rough-sleepers and those without permanent housing. The service is delivered in a street-based setting, moving between service users on foot as part of a 2-3 hour planned route through central Edinburgh.

This post is a fixed-term, one-year role within the Sexual Health Blood Borne Virus Outreach Service. The purpose of the role is to support people leaving custody across Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and Stirling who are at increased risk of poor sexual health and blood-borne virus (BBV) outcomes. The Project Worker will deliver trauma-informed, person-centred outreach support, meeting individuals where they are and removing barriers to engagement with health and wider support services.
The primary focus of the role is people leaving custody across the Forth Valley area who experience significant health inequalities. This includes individuals who: test positive for a blood-borne virus in custody and require intensive support on liberation, experience substance use, mental ill-health, homelessness or housing instability, poverty, trauma, and digital exclusion, face barriers to accessing services due to stigma, anxiety, communication needs, or rigid appointment-based systems, are from marginalised groups, including people with learning disabilities, neurodivergence, complex family circumstances, or a history of offending.
The post holder will report to the Team Leader. They will work in partnership with colleagues from Substance Use Services, Social Work Departments, Housing Services, Hepatology Services, HMP Establishments and others as required for continuity of care and sharing good practice. In partnership we aim to provide services that are specifically designed to identify, engage, and support individuals.
The post holder as an employee of Transform Forth Valley will have a corporate responsibility to contribute to the overall performance of the organisation to ensure that contractual outputs and targets are achieved. There is a responsibility for the post-holder to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvements in service delivery for the benefit of the service user, the service, and the partners.
