Midlothian Sure Start has been in existence since 2001 and employs over 70 members of staff providing a service in Family Learning centres and in the community. Midlothian Sure Start is seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to deliver and develop perinatal and infant mental health services, including A Good Start, Dads2B, Baby Steps, VIG, Circle of Security Parenting and more.

You’ll support families through 1:1 and group work while also providing mentorship to staff, contributing to service development, and deputising for the Perinatal Manager.

Essential:

• Experience supporting families and delivering group programmes
• Relevant qualification (Social Care, Community Education or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of infant mental health and trauma
• Ability to lead, mentor, and work collaboratively
• Access to own transport
