Join Us as Chair of the Board – Make a Lasting Difference in Children’s Lives

Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for families and child development? We’re seeking a dynamic Chair of the Board of Trustees to help steer our charity into its next exciting chapter.

At LASC Childcare Services, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. As a respected provider of high-quality childcare, we support hundreds of families each year, fostering safe, nurturing environments where babies, children and young adults can thrive.

This is a pivotal time for our organisation, and we’re looking for a Chair who can provide clear strategic vision, ensure strong governance, and act as a compelling ambassador for our mission.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in senior leadership, governance, or board roles
  • A strong commitment to social impact and the welfare of children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with fellow trustees and the leadership team
  • Experience in the charity, education, or care sectors (desirable but not essential)

What you’ll gain:

  • The chance to shape the future of an impactful and valued charity
  • A supportive, passionate Board and leadership team
  • A meaningful voluntary role with flexible time commitments, approximately 4 to 6 hours per month
  • Personal and professional development through sector engagement and governance experience

If you’re ready to lead with purpose and help create brighter futures for children, we’d love to hear from you.
