Project Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our staff team. As such, we are currently looking to recruit a new Project Officer.

  • As Project Officer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of projects and training events with community groups and other stakeholders
  • The role of Project Officer is both creative and varied, offering the opportunity to visit locations across Scotland to deliver projects and training events
  • The Project Officer role will be line managed by the Community Development Manager
  • The post would suit a people-focused, creative individual

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Will bring energy, creativity and excellent project management skills to the role
  • Can build positive working relationships both within the organisation and with external stakeholders
  • Has experience or a demonstrable interest in planning or placemaking
  • Has experience of working within the third / community sector - desirable, but not required

The post would be ideal for a graduate or licentiate planner seeking to advance their skills and experience on the path to becoming chartered. The role would also be well-suited to candidates with a background in community development, looking to leverage their experience in a dynamic and impactful role.
