This is an excellent opportunity for someone with great communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. The post holder will take responsibility to help build lasting relationships with our supporters through written and verbal communication and ensure efficient administration of donations and maintaining accurate data on our CRM system. They will also maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement both within the team and the wider organisation.

Regional Relationships Manager – Scotland

We’re really proud of the impact we’ve already had on behalf of people affected by blood cancer, and our fundraising strategy seeks to grow our income to help us achieving our mission of beating blood cancer within a generation. The Regional Relationships Team plays a pivotal role in this income growth and the Regional Relationships Manager will be responsible for significantly growing income across their region.

You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our current network of regional fundraising volunteers as well growing our volunteer and community group network to help drive income growth across the region and ensure the Regional Relationships Team can achieve its strategic objectives.

This is a homebased role and you will be expected to travel across Scotland, therefore you must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle insured for business use.

Key Responsibilities

Our job is to help us stop people dying from blood cancer, improve patients’ quality of life and stop people getting a blood cancer in the first place. You will be successful in your role if you are as ambitious as we are about beating blood cancer.

Your role will be to provide fundraising and administration support across the Fundraising directorate’s income generating activities. This involves providing outstanding customer service to our supporters via telephone, email, social media, and mail. The Supporter Relations Coordinator is required to balance their time between coaching, deputising in the Supporter Relations Manager’s absence and managing supporter enquiries and registrations for fundraising appeals and campaigns, as well as processing donations and sending thank you letters.

A high attention to detail, in addition to the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, is essential. The Supporter Relations Coordinator will be a skilled problem solver, resolving issues as they arise by communicating effectively and efficiently with colleagues across the charity.

The Regional Relationships Team plays a pivotal role in fundraising and the Regional Relationships Co-ordinator is a key part of this team, providing outstanding administrative and logistical support to our Regional Relationships Managers.

Our Regional Relationships team manages our community fundraising networks, which provide a crucial income stream to fund life-saving research and support for people affected by blood cancer.

The Regional Relationships Coordinator will provide administrative support to our network of regional managers across the country. By managing the logistics, data and materials which support regional fundraising, they will be central to maintaining and growing our network of supporters and maximising our income.

This is a fixed term maternity cover role for 9 months.
