North Ayrshire Foodbanks is a project of the Ardrossan Church of the Nazarene and opened its doors on the 1st December 2012. Our aim is simple: '...to help people when they are experiencing a food crisis through the provision of a healthy and nutritious food box.' By the time of the organisation’s first anniversary – and, thanks to a strong partnership with the Trussell Trust, the Foodbank had helped 3,240 people, including 1,077 children. To enable us to support so many we draw upon the goodwill of donors and volunteers.
