Financially Included is a project dedicated to tackling economic abuse and the economic impact of all forms of violence against women and girls in Scotland.

A partnership between GEMAP Scotland and the Glasgow Violence Against Women Partnership, the work is funded by the Scottish Governments Delivering Equally Safe Fund.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to help us develop and deliver a whole system solution in supporting women and girls whose ability to flourish economically has been impacted by gender-based violence.

If you are driven, committed and passionate about helping women and girls to achieve financial independence from coercive circumstances then we want to hear from you.

Our team needs to be creative, collaborative and understand the power of partnerships in finding solutions, challenging norms, and developing systems to support a sustainable framework for tackling economic abuse.

Advice worker (home working)

GEMAP is seeking an experienced advice worker to join our team.

The post will involve the delivery person to person advice via telephone or online platforms. The role will be delivered exclusively by home working.

GEMAP seeks an experienced Money Advice Worker to support clients to maximise incomes, reduce household costs and cope with unmanageable debt.

You should be conversant with all relevant legislation and practice in Money Advice and Welfare Rights and understand the principles of Financial Capability.

You will know about the Scottish National Standards for Information and advice and be capable of managing a significant caseload in line with the standards.

GEMAP, as an agency, always looks at the person and not the problem; therefore, you should be client-focused in your outlook and experience.

You will be self-motivated and passionate, have excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills, be computer literate, and be committed to continuous improvement, equality, and diversity.

The successful candidates will be flexible in their approach as GEMAP needs to meet the demands of users and customers in these challenging times.
