Headway Glasgow is Scotland’s largest Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) specialist community support service of its kind. We are celebrating out 25th anniversary this year and continue to support hundreds of individuals annually. We offer values-based open-ended, person-centred and multi-service support for ABI-experienced individuals and their families/unpaid carers, from one-to-one advocacy to a wide range of therapeutic groups. We cover a total of eight local authorities, with these posts specifically covering Glasgow City, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire and East Dunbartonshire.
Thanks to vital and much appreciated three-year funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, Headway Glasgow is now delighted to transform its long-standing one-to-one advocacy service into the country’s first specialist ABI Advocacy Service (ABIAS).
We are recruiting two part-time ABI specialist Advocacy Workers (or possibly one full-time Advocacy Worker) to be part of this new team in hybrid roles operating both from our city centre offices and remotely.
We welcome applications from within Scotland’s wider ABI-community and people from diverse backgrounds.
Headway Glasgow pride ourselves on being an inclusive, flexible, positive, friendly and supportive place to work.
