Citizens Advice Bureau are local, independent charities that provide free and confidential advice and information whoever you are and whatever your problem.

Because Citizens Advice Bureaux are managed and used by people within the community, they deliver services that meet the needs of local people. They provide practical advice, negotiate on behalf of clients and even represent them formally, such as at tribunal hearings.

East Ayrshire Citizens Advice Bureau (EACAB) is a progressive and innovative advice organisation dedicated to providing free, impartial, and confidential advice to local communities. We offer both generalist advice and specialist casework services to support people in need across East Ayrshire.

East Ayrshire Citizens Advice Bureau is entering an exciting period of rebuilding and development. As we expand our staff team and strengthen our volunteer base, we are introducing two new Session Supervisor / Case Checker roles to support the delivery of a high-quality advice service for our local community.

Each postholder will divide their time equally between two key functions:

  • Session Supervision – overseeing the delivery of advice sessions, supporting staff and volunteers during advice, reception, and triage, and ensuring quality and consistency in service delivery.
  • Case Checking – reviewing cases for accuracy, quality, and compliance with Citizens Advice standards, and providing constructive feedback to support staff and volunteer development.
