Scottish Cot Death Trust is the only national charity in Scotland for cot death which continues to devastate the lives of a family once every 9 days. We started in 1985 as a research project and initiated the work that led, in 2011, to an established protocol within NHS Scotland for the handling of cases of sudden unexpected death in infancy. We are active within Scottish Government and NHS Scotland to ensure best practice is maintained as well as working closely with bereaved families.
