What You’ll Do
As Team Leader for our Early Years team, you'll have a multi-faceted role. You will be the steward of our family support services, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed our targets, and our services are of the highest quality. As a people manager, you will be the mentor and guide, nurturing our exceptional team and instilling a strengths-based and coaching approach. Our Partnerships will thrive under your watchful eye and as our representative in various external forums, you'll forge and solidify beneficial collaborations that will further our mission. You'll also wear the hat of a Leader, playing an integral role in our leadership team, steering us forward in line with our strategic objectives. Lastly, as an agent of change, you will keep a finger on the pulse of the ever-evolving environment, seeking opportunities to amplify the issues families face and actively implementing actionable solutions.
What We Need
We're looking for someone deeply empathetic, with prior experience in supporting lone parents and families in need. An excellent understanding of early years, child development, and child poverty is essential. You'll bring to the table your exceptional team management, organisational, and project management skills. Ideally, you'd be educated to a minimum of SCQF Level 8 or have equivalent leadership experience.

What We Need
To excel in this role, a solid grasp of Child Wellbeing, Poverty, and Whole Family Support is key. Your hands-on experience engaging volunteers and aiding families facing diverse challenges is vital. Navigating intricate issues, maintaining strong organisational skills, and fostering clear communication are essential for effective teamwork and interdisciplinary partnerships. Your ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and employ Microsoft Office tools is crucial. Additionally, a minimum education level of SCQF Level 7 or equivalent in a related field is expected. For added flexibility, a valid driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous due to travel across Fife, however accommodations can be discussed during interviews.

This amazing opportunity is for a “can do” creative person with a passion to ensure that the children have the best start possible and that young parents aspirations for the future are met. We are looking for someone who has a sound understanding of the importance of the yearly years, the effects of trauma and the teenage brain.
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to work with our Early years Team. This person needs to have experience of capacity building and supporting volunteers and have the attributes and skills that support volunteers to meet the needs of the team and families in a flexible, non-judgemental manner. Someone who is creative and enjoys supporting others to be active and part of their community. This person must be a team player and also able to work with autonomy in the local community.
