Healthy n Happy are seeking an experienced, skilled, proactive, self-motivating, caring and enthusiastic team player to help us make Cambuslang and Rutherglen the healthiest and happiest places to live in Scotland.

Applications are invited from those with a track record in community media; engaging local residents and communities in creative industries activities; particularly live radio and / or podcasting. By undertaking grassroots engagement and capacity building work, you will support local residents to be actively involved in their local community radio station: supporting them to take the lead, to improve their skills & confidence, to positively progress through their volunteering journey and to use their influence to help improve life in their community for all.

You will also work collaboratively across the organisation to develop and deliver our services, activities and events that help people to:

  • Build Personal Connections and Relationships
  • Get active, outdoors and green
  • Enjoy the benefits of local culture, arts and radio
  • Engage in lifelong learning and skill building
  • Lead and participate as influential citizens

You will have:

  • Experience of the creative industries sector; preferably in community media

An exciting opportunity to join Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust.

Healthy n Happy is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant/PA/Office /Project Manager to join our growing and entrepreneurial charity. You will have direct exposure to the senior team and be given the scope to design and implement improvements, processes and systems as the organisation continues to develop.

You will be responsible for the organization and coordination of all our workplaces and associated functional operations, procedures, systems and resources to facilitate effectiveness and efficiency for the entire organization. You will support several business areas including office management, event management, facilities management (for our 3 locations) and general operations and supplier management (including Finance, HR, IT, Health & Safety & Governance).

This role will be responsible for the provision of consistent high quality Executive Assistant support to the Senior Management Team (Executive Director, Operations Director and Enterprise Director) and to the Senior Team Leaders to ensure the organisations’ administrative and operational responsibilities are met.

The successful candidate will be confident working pro-actively using strong project management and problem-solving skills, including managing change, troubleshooting and identifying and implementing continuous improvements in systems, processes and corporate functional areas.

Healthy n Happy are seeking an experienced, proactive, self-motivating, caring and enthusiastic team player to help us make Cambuslang and Rutherglen the healthiest and happiest places to live in Scotland.

Applications are invited from those with a track record delivering high levels of client support and case management to further support our specialist ‘walk alongside’ service. This is a key role that enables self-management, positive health and wellbeing (with a focus on mental health) and pathways into positive destinations. You will provide oversight and coordination support across the Transforming Lives caseload (intake/referrals, allocations, planning and exit) in order to ensure a seamless pathway for participants, as well as holding a client support caseload of your own.

You will also work collaboratively across the organisation to develop and deliver our services, activities and events that help people to:

Funding Officer

This is a great opportunity to work with Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust and support the work we do within Cambuslang and Rutherglen.

We are looking for funding officer expertise to build upon our strong track record of securing funds from trusts, foundations and statutory opportunities. This is a flexible opportunity where, with the right experience, you can work flexibly and remotely (1-3 days per week) with our Senior Management Team, utilising your experience and knowledge to research, develop and submit persuasive funding proposals in order to help us achieve income targets.

You'll enjoy an exciting and creative environment and you will join a team of hardworking, professional and committed

individuals. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their skills experience in securing funding. This should include an excellent track record securing significant and regular income through a wide range of funding opportunities, from small to large multi-year bids.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication ability for a wide range of audiences, including experience of writing compelling and innovative copy and content. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, strong commercial acumen and excellent organisational skills are also required. You will be a creative, positive and confident individual who will bring new ideas to Healthy n Happy and play a key role in helping us achieve our future ambitions.
