The Organisation
At Art in Healthcare, we are excited and motivated by the possibilities that art provides to support the health and wellbeing of everyone living in Scotland. Over the last thirty years we have worked to improve health and wellbeing for individuals and communities by providing opportunities to experience and engage with high quality visual art, artists and creativity. The Role
You will work closely with the Art in Healthcare team to curate an exhibition that raises awareness of, and shares learning from, our programme Taking Art Home. The project, funded by Creative Scotland, allowed us to make our art collection and creative workshops available to adults living with long Covid and those with long-term conditions that find it very difficult to leave the house in Scotland. We want to share the voices and experiences of those with long term conditions who were at the heart of the programme.
You will work with the Art in Healthcare Collection, a range of resources and short films created during the programme and work created by participants in the programme to produce an exhibition that shares the programme with a wider audience. The exhibition will take place in April 2025 in a community or health space and will also be on-line [ensuring that all individuals involved in the programme can access it]. We are looking for someone to work with us to:
