In further developing our Recovery Link team, we are now recruiting for this role. By offering peer support and through harm reduction practices you will enable people to choose, plan and establish their recovery journey and assist them to access and engage with community-based services and support networks which work for them. Frontline Fife is a mid-sized charity which works to end homelessness by taking preventative action and by supporting people to choose the life they aspire to.
As a Recovery Link Worker, you will provide people with recovery focused support and brief interventions. The role involves managing a caseload of clients, undertaking assessments, developing person-centred recovery plans, and providing evidence-based practices to promote behaviour change. You will also provide support and advice to adults who are at risk of becoming homeless, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with other agencies to ensure all services users’ needs are met.
Through our Harm Reduction Programme, the Recovery Link Worker will lead in delivering harm reduction interventions, for example screening for Blood Borne Viruses; Naloxone; and sexual health. A key focus of the role is improving our family inclusive practices into the support offered to clients to support the inclusion of family members in the recovery and treatment journey.
