We have two roles both on a permanent basis with fixed hours open to negotiation, one based in Caithness and one in Sutherland – FTE £24484.
An opportunity has become available within the Children and Young People’s Team at CASWA. We are looking for two hard-working, dedicated and enthusiastic professionals to join our team.
Key responsibilities will include working directly with children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse on a one-to-one setting, providing person-centred and led support.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and flexible and have proven experience of supporting children and young people in a similar environment.
The post requires applicants to be SVQ qualified in Health and Social Care or equivalent (or be willing to work towards this qualification).
Applicants should have an understanding of domestic abuse and violence against women. In addition, applicants should demonstrate a willingness to participate in the awareness raising work of the service.
Role Requirements:
The successful candidates will be required to support children and young people throughout Caithness and Sutherland and will be office based in one of our offices, with the opportunity to work flexibly, as agreed with Line Manager.
