Community InfoSource are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Befriending Caseworker to join our small and supportive team.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in cross-cultural settings and/or with refugee and asylum issues, together with experience of providing casework support or advocacy.

You should be organised, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable working both

independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Experience of befriending or volunteer coordination, maintaining casework records and working within

the voluntary sector would be welcome. The ability to speak one or more of the first languages used by

the communities we support would also be an advantage.

We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of the UK asylum and

immigration system. Community InfoSource will guarantee an interview to applicants with lived

experience of the asylum system who meet all of the essential criteria in the Person Specification.
