Founded in 1997, Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust is an independent charity regulated by the Scottish Charity Regulator (Charity No. SC027481). PKCT has led a number of very successful projects in the outstanding environment of the Perth and Kinross countryside involving negotiating access to land, building footpaths, caring for Scotland’s most spectacular woodlands and trees, and working on conservation projects; all to improve and promote access to the countryside for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. We work in partnership with other organisation’s and community groups to help make Perthshire one of the most accessible destinations in Scotland. The staff of five are led by a Trust Manager and are based in Perth.
