We are a group of women who work together as a collective to provide support and information to women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse. We can also provide refuge if this is appropriate, or seek other accommodation for women who want this.

We are a small group of passionate and committed radical feminists who work collectively to deliver a high-quality service to the women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

This is a rare opportunity to work in one of Scotland’s few remaining, genuine collectives, challenging male violence against women, children and young people and supporting them in their experiences of domestic abuse. You will be working within a Collective Management structure while also providing essential face to face support.

Support Worker and Collective Manager:

As a Support Worker / Collective Manager your core responsibility will be to deliver one to one support to women, children and young people using our service. You will also be responsible for the overall project management of the service alongside the other collective members.

This would be the ideal role for someone who does not want to work from home and is looking for a varied and interesting role as no two days in Clydebank Women’s Aid are the same. You will have the unique perspective as a worker and a manager. By supporting the women, children, and young people directly, you will gain first-hand insight into the challenges and barriers they face. You will have the opportunity to contribute to local and national campaigns and legislation that could ultimately make a difference to the issues that the women, children, and young people that we support on a day-to-day basis. Your passion, vision, attitudes, skills, and ideas will be valued and will be used to propel Clydebank Women’s Aid forward.
