MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide effective administrative support to Monklands Women’s Aid, with particular responsibility for the administrative and operational requirements associated with the organisation's offices and refuge accommodation. The postholder will undertake a range of general administrative, accommodation, property, financial and record-keeping duties to support the effective management and operation of Monklands Women’s Aid. The role will involve maintaining accurate records and documentation, processing correspondence, assisting with accommodation and Housing Benefit administration, liaising with contractors, suppliers, landlords, utility providers and other relevant organisations, and undertaking other administrative duties appropriate to the role. The postholder will be required to work with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism and in accordance with Monklands Women’s Aid policies and procedures.
