The Corstorphine Dementia Project is an established charity who is dedicated to providing quality day services to individuals located in the Corstorphine area with a diagnosis of dementia. This is achieved through our day centre the Jubilee Club.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated individual to join our day centre team. You will be located in our day centre and work with a team of staff and volunteers supporting individuals who have a diagnosis of dementia. Ideally the successful applicant will have experience of working in a support environment but this is not essential. With the ability to understand the needs of older people with dementia you will effectively contribute towards the provision of a relaxed, fun and caring environment within a framework that promotes independence and individual choice. Good verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently engage with those around you is essential.

This post is subject to membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, regulated work with adults.
