Join Carers Together as a Trustee

Are you passionate about supporting unpaid carers and helping shape the future of a carer-led charity?

Carers Together is a well-established, carer-led organisation committed to improving the quality of life for unpaid carers. We provide trusted information, expert support, meaningful engagement and strong community connections. Everything we do is rooted in listening to carers, empowering them, and championing their rights.

We are now inviting applications from committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, you will provide strategic leadership and governance in line with our mission and values, ensure legal and financial compliance, and help shape the long-term direction of the organisation. You may also act as an ambassador for carers and for Carers Together across the community.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. Lived experience of caring is particularly valued, alongside skills or expertise in areas such as governance, finance, fundraising, digital strategy, communications or community partnership working.

This is an unpaid voluntary role, with reasonable expenses reimbursed in line with policy. Board meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 10am, except January, with an annual conference held in June.
