Our vision

At Connect, we’re on a mission to transform the educational landscape in Scotland. Our vision is crystal clear: a Scotland where every child and young person has a thriving future, fuelled by the power of engaged parents shaping their educational journey. But we’re not just dreaming about it, we’re making it happen by advancing effective parental engagement, inclusion, and representation in early years, primary, and secondary school communities, supporting thousands of parent groups throughout Scotland, and encouraging educators to value and embrace effective parental engagement.

The opportunity

Connect seeks a Project Co-ordinator to help deliver the new Scottish Assembly for Parents and Carers and the postholder will make a significant contribution to improving education policy in Scotland. Funded by the Scottish Government, the successful candidate will be facilitating dialogues and research with parents from across Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to create a new way of ensuring that the voices and views of parents and carers are properly heard.
