Humanist Society Scotland (HSS) is the Scottish charity working on behalf of non-religious people who seek to live ethical and fulfilling lives on the basis of reason and humanity. HSS is part of a UK, European and wider international movement of people and organisations. In Scotland, HSS members have a clear vision of a secular Scotland, and the activities that HSS can pursue to achieve that end. We are a registered charity in Scotland, and governed by a board of Trustees elected by members. The day-to-day work of the Society is undertaken by a team of staff and volunteers overseen by the Senior Management Team.
