Service Manager – Midlothian Recovery Services

Health in Mind has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader to join our South Services Team as Service Manager for our Midlothian Recovery Services, supporting people with their mental health and drug and/or alcohol recovery journey. Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of the Recovery Services, including:

  • Recovery Peer Support Service (one-to-one support for people seeking support in recovery, including support for women and those who have experienced a near fatal overdose)
  • Recovery Peer Connecting Service
  • Hostels Peer Support
  • Peer Support Groups (including SMART groups) and Peer Training

You should have experience in; providing leadership and management within services, staff development and supervision, supporting people drug and alcohol recovery and mental health, working as part of a team, working with external stakeholders, meeting service KPI’s, data analysis and preparing data for reporting. Supporting our Peer Support Workers and volunteers, who have their own lived experience of recovery is vital in this role.

You will join a busy team that supports a vibrant schedule of online and in-person activity. Organised and with an eye for detail, you will provide administrative support to a busy Peer Support Team. This means handling enquiries, managing venue relationships and ensuring activity is organised with responsive support to communication, event planning participant reimbursement.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Services Team, leading the operations of our Trauma Support Team and Edinburgh Groups and Courses Team

Health in Mind has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Edinburgh Team as a Service Manager. Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-date delivery of services, and seven staff members, including:

Trauma Support Services

  • Long term one-to-one support (up to 1 year) of support to men and women who have experiences of childhood sexual abuse.
  • Short term one-to-one support (up to 10 weeks) of support to people who have experiences of childhood abuse.
  • Psychoeducational courses for people who have experiences of childhood abuse.
  • Support to people who have experienced abuse within the Scottish care system.

Groups and Courses Services

  • Psychoeducational and self-management courses for people to support their mental health and wellbeing.
  • Ethnic minority support, including psychoeducational and self-management courses, drop-ins and some limited one to one support (up to 10 weeks).
  • Drop in anxiety and depression peer support groups.

You should have experience in; providing leadership and management within services, staff development and supervision, supporting people with trauma, mental health, working as part of a team, working with external stakeholders, meeting service KPI’s, data analysis and preparing data for reporting. Supporting our team members and volunteers who work closely with trauma and mental health is vital within this role.
