Porty Community is a community organisation in Portobello (Edinburgh) interested in reducing carbon emissions and helping the community transition to low carbon living. We are currently working on the following topics: Low-carbon transport including EVs and electric cargo bikes. Low-carbon heating including innovative district heating/sea source heat pumps. Combined solar generation and storage to provide clean energy to a building, possibly with EV/ebike chargers.
