Support Choices is a small charity based in Perth & Kinross, Scotland. We exist to ensure that some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, older adults, disabled individuals, and unpaid carers have the care and support they need to live life on their own terms. We provide independent advice, advocacy, and practical help to people navigating the complexities of social care and Self-Directed Support (SDS).

The main responsibility of the Community Broker’s post is to provide independent support and advice about Self Directed Support (SDS) and social care to those who need it. To help people and carers make informed decisions and plans for their social care and to maximise their choice and control over those arrangements.

Further to these key elements, Community Broker will contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of projects within the organisation, as well as playing a proactive role in their own development.
