Findhorn Bay Arts (FBA) is looking to expand its team and is recruiting for a Business Development Director
FBA is looking for a proactive, imaginative and experienced Business Development Director to join them in the next phase of its business plan and support the organisation in realising its goals. Strengthening its core operational management, this role will provide greater internal resources and capacity for its fundraising and development.
The organisation has ambitious plans to widen its programme delivery further through building strategic partnerships, targets for fundraising and earned income, and expanding the organisation's reach and impact, ultimately contributing to its long-term sustainability.
This is a great role for a highly organised, ambitious, innovative, and motivated person to contribute to the continuing success and development of FBA as it embarks on a new 3-year strategic business plan, having secured Creative Scotland Multi-Year funding for 2025-2028.
The Business Development Director will lead on fundraising and unrestricted income generation, establishing and nurturing new partnerships locally, nationally and internationally, and evaluating and reporting impacts and outcomes across its projects to inform strategic development and organisational sustainability.

FBA has ambitious goals to grow its audience and develop its brand. This new post will ensure the organisation meets those aims.
The role requires a diverse palette of marketing and communication skills with a positive attitude and confidence in generating dynamic and creative content and forging a range of partnerships.
Based in Forres, Moray and working closely with the CEO/Creative Director, the post-holder will be responsible for the creation and implementation of project-specific and cross-organisational marketing and communications strategies, with particular reference to FBA’s biennial festival, which aims to connect with and inspire new and diverse audiences and participants.
You should be able to demonstrate that you can generate dynamic content with a fresh and accessible style of communication to a broad audience and advocate for the organisation in a concise, authentic, and impactful way. You should be confident using multiple marketing channels to communicate creatively and strategically to varied audiences and develop partnerships that support the aims of the organisation.
