Epilepsy Scotland wants to ensure the needs of people with epilepsy are met and works to campaign for improved health and social care, better information provision, fairer access to employment and benefits, and an end to stigma. We aim to empower people with epilepsy, to maximise their wellbeing and to fulfil whatever their potential might be
We have a rare opening within our Senior Management Team, for the post of Wellbeing Manager (35 hours per week).
This is an extremely rewarding role and will allow the post-holder to make a tangible impact on the lives of those people living with epilepsy.
We are looking for an experienced manager of people-facing services to oversee our ongoing services and develop new ones to meet the needs of those we work with.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and supervising the multi-disciplinary, motivated and passionate Wellbeing team. The team offers a range of services and initiatives that support people living with epilepsy. The holistic approach includes financial wellbeing. The services offered include a wellbeing service for adults, a youth work service with groups in Edinburgh and Glasgow, a welfare rights service and a support group in Aberdeen.
This is a rewarding, diverse role which includes elements of management, monitoring and evaluation, planning, and delivering quality project(s) safely within agreed timescales and budgets.
