  • Funded to March 2027 in first instance. 35 hours per week, but part-time hours may be considered. Working pattern can be flexible across the working week to meet the needs of the role.

Role

Are you passionate about social impact and community-led economic development? Fife Voluntary Action is seeking a dynamic Capacity Building Officer to strengthen social and community enterprises across Fife.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver tailored support to social and community enterprises, helping them grow and thrive.
  • Work closely with Fife Council Economic Development and Business Gateway to embed social value in local economic growth.
  • Champion community wealth building by supporting local supply chains and procurement opportunities.
  • Develop networks, deliver workshops, and maintain the Community Wealth Building Portal.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in organisational development and capacity building.
  • Strong understanding of the voluntary sector and social enterprise landscape.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills.
