Role

Coordinator (including Community Casework and Community Food roles)

Community Renewal Trust is a dynamic charity with a vacancy for a Coordinator within our Pennywell/Muirhouse office. While a small charity it is at the forefront of developing and delivering new, better ways to end poverty for people and neighbourhoods which are of national importance. We work in a whole-person, whole-neighbourhood mentality and all staff, all the time seek to use our seven values. The role seeks to take a community development approach, building capacity in the community by identifying and working with community activists/groups. This role requires one-to-one work with community members. The coordinator will also oversee a new social enterprise veg shop. Although not essential some project management skills are preferred.

If you are someone with a little experience in bottom-up community approaches and/or holistic casework and who is excited by our values then absolutely contact us to apply. https://www.communityrenewal.org.uk/about-us/our-values/

TRUSTWORTHY – Our trustworthiness is what makes our relationships grow

LEARNING – Our charity is about learning so we celebrate success but also appreciate failure

BUILDING ON STRENGTHS – Our aim is always to build on strengths: we reject paternalism

ALONGSIDE COMMUNITIES – Our aim is always to stay alongside people for as long as it takes.
