Role

Are you passionate about seeing young people encounter Jesus and grow as disciples? Do you long to see a new generation of leaders equipped, supported, and released across the Church of Scotland?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Church of Scotland’s work with young people and young adults, supporting presbyteries and congregations, as well as national initiatives, in their mission to engage with and disciple young people.

As part of the Mission Support Team, you will build on the vision of the Faith Action Programme Leadership Team for young people and young adults by bringing strategy, energy and leadership to this vital area of work.

You will bring experience, current insight, creativity, and vision—enthusing and motivating others, inspiring young people and their leaders to think intergenerationally and embrace a disciple-making culture.

In partnership with colleagues across the Faith Action team, you will also develop leadership pathways and training opportunities to build a strong and sustainable leadership pipeline for young people and young adults across the Church.

An excellent communicator, you will work collaboratively and demonstrate strong leadership skills ensuring the timely delivery of key areas of work within diverse teams.
