Role

The Church Centre Administrator will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of daily office activities. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of the Church Centre - Hall Lettings - regular and one-off, i.e. deal with all booking enquiries (phone, email and in person), maintain diary, prepare contracts/invoices & manage payments.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails and correspondence
  • Maintain and update filing systems, databases, and records.
  • Prepare Power Points for church services
  • Provide general administrative support to church members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with office management systems
  • Basic knowledge of finance administration
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Working Pattern

  • Monday to Thursday 9am to 3pm Friday 9 to 12.00 (occasional overtime during busy periods)
  • Salary £19,754 (full-time equivalent £25,607)
